Here you will find all the questions and answers about ordering and using your BenefitCard Premium on one page. Thist FAQ is for employees who have already received the BenefitCard Premium through their employer and have questions about its use and application in everyday life. 


I have received a BenefitCard Premium. How and where do I register my BenefitCard Premium?

Please visit www.benefitcardpremium.de/login. Click on the „LOGIN“ button. On the next page you will be guided through the registration step by step.


How do I get my PIN for my BenefitCard Premium?

The PIN is displayed during the registration process. Please have your mobile phone ready, as you will receive a verification code by SMS for security reasons. If you have forgotten your PIN, you can request the PIN again for a small fee. Please click on the „Card PIN“ button in the customer area. The fee for this request can be found at www.benefitcardpremium.de/login. ATTENTION! Please keep your PIN in a safe place and do not disclose it to anyone, not even the staff of Blackhawk Engagement Solutions GmbH or Novum Bank. 


Where can I use my BenefitCard Premium?

Where can I use my BenefitCard Premium? You can use your BenefitCard Premium wherever Mastercard® is accepted as a payment option – worldwide these are more than 36 million acceptance points! When can I start to use my BenefitCard Premium? You can use the card immediately after successful registration. To use the card in shops, you will need a PIN. This PIN will be displayed to you during the registration process.

 

How do I know how much the current balance on my BenefitCard Premium is?

How do I know how much my current balance is? You can check your credit balance online (free of charge) in the customer area on the website www.benefitcardpremium.de/login, or you can send an SMS with the word „Guthaben“ (which means credit) to 0177 / 17 81 205 and receive an SMS with the current credit balance of your card. This process is subject to a fee. Can I deposit money myself or recharge the card? No, unfortunately this is not possible.

Can I deposit money myself or recharge my BenefitCard Premium?

No, unfortunately this is not possible.


Can I withdraw cash at the ATM with my BenefitCard Premium?

No, unfortunately this is not possible.

Will any fees be charged during the use of my BenefitCard Premium ?

No, there are no fees for the payment with BenefitCard Premium. For transactions in foreign currency (outside the euro zone), your BenefitCard Premium will be charged an additional 2% of the amount converted.

When will the credit on my BenefitCard Premium expire?

Your card has a validity date printed on it. If you have not agreed otherwise with your employer, you can use the BenefitCard Premium until the balance is used up.

Can staff in the store check the balance on my BenefitCard Premium ?

Unfortunately this is not possible. You can request the balance of your BenefitCard Premium via SMS and our website. Simply follow the instructions mentioned above.

What happens to the remaining balance on my BenefitCard Premium if I leave the company?

You can use your remaining balance as a means of payment at all Mastercard® acceptance points during the validity period. 

What options do I have if the purchase value exceeds the credit balance on my BenefitCard Premium?

If you would like to purchase something that is more expensive than the current balance of your BenefitCard Premium, please contact the cashier before starting the payment process, as the possibility of additional payment depends on the respective cash register system in the shop. This way you know directly whether and in which form an additional payment (cash, EC or credit card) is possible in the respective shop. 

How long is my BenefitCard Premium valid?

The expiry date is indicated on the front side of your BenefitCard Premium. Please contact your employer before the expiry date so that they can timely order you a new card.

What do I have to pay attention to when exchanging or returning the item (reversing the transaction) if I have paid for it with my BenefitCard Premium?

For exchange or return please present the receipt and your BenefitCard Premium in the shop. For this reason, it is recommended to keep your BenefitCard Premium even if it no longer has any credit. It depends on the respective retailer whether re-exchange is possible. In the case of a return, the retailer will usually credit the amount to your card or give you a voucher. A return in cash is not possible.


Is the BenefitCard Premium transferable? 

No, the BenefitCard Premium is personalized and therefore not transferable.

Who should I contact if my BenefitCard Premium does not work?

Please contact our customer service on 0 800 / 88 00 118.

What happens when my BenefitCard Premium expires? 

In this case, please contact your employer.


Can I use my BenefitCard Premium to pay online? 

Of course! You can also use the card on the Internet wherever Mastercard® is accepted as a payment option.

Can I have the balance on my BenefitCard Premium transferred to my bank account

No, unfortunately this is not possible.

What should I do if I have forgotten my PIN?

You can have the PIN displayed online at www.benefitcardpremium.de/login again. Please click on the "Karten PIN" button in the customer area. Please have your mobile phone ready, as you will receive a verification code by SMS for security reasons. The costs for a new display are listed at www.benefitcardpremium.de/login and will be debited directly from your card balance.

What should I do if I have lost my BenefitCard Premium or if it has been stolen?

In case of loss or theft, you must block your card immediately. You can do this either by sending an SMS ("sperren") to 0 177 / 17 81 205 or via www.benefitcardpremium.de/login or by calling our customer service on 0800 / 88 00 118. Then please contact your employer to order a replacement card. 

What happens to the remaining balance on my BenefitCard Premium if it is blocked?

The balance will be transferred to your new BenefitCard Premium.
